If I am having trouble with a member or feel threatened when meeting a member who do I contact?
If you are having problems with another member contact us immediately. You can do this via the Contact Us web page. We will not tolerate any members causing distress to other members and we will cancel their membership if our investigations find them at fault. Our administrator will also immediately block that person from contacting you again.
Can I block a member?
Yes. Our administrator will block a member from contacting you at your request. To arrange this simply complete the Contact Us web page and tell us the name of the member and the reason why you want the member blocked.
If I have a complaint how do I make Artefex know?
Complete the Contact Us form on the website providing details of your complaint and a Senior Manager from Artefex will phone you.
Why do I need to verify my email?
This is a standard procedure for most web sites and is for your own safety. The process ensures that you are who you say you are and your details are accurate and correct. This process will prevent unscrupulous users joining Artefex.
Do you monitor email content?
Yes, we do for your own safety and to prevent insulting or offensive emails being sent between members. We automatically block various offensive words.
If I am not logged into the Artefex website, how do I know someone is trying to contact me?
When you register we ask you for a personal email address. When another member is trying to contact you an email from Artefex will be sent to your personal email address with a link to that member’s message.
Can I get SMS messages on my mobile?
No. However, when another member contacts you, a message will be sent to your email.
I haven't received my membership activation email
Please contact us via email and state that you are waiting for your verification email / code and we will resolve the problem immediately. Our email address is This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
I've lost my membership activation email
Please contact us via the Contact Us page and confirm you have lost your verification email / code and we will send you another one.
How do I change my password?
Go to your member profile page and follow the instructions to change your Password or any other of your profile details. Press the Save button to save any changes. You will receive confirmation of any changes you have made to your personal email address from Artefex.
